# Rectangle, ellipse, and line

> Create standard shapes with a click or a drag in Lottie Libre.

## Shortcuts

| Key | Tool |
| - | - |
| `R` | Rectangle |
| `O` | Ellipse |
| `L` | Line |

## Create

* **Click** to place a shape at its default size.
* **Drag** to set its size. The anchor point starts at the center.

## After creation

Select the shape (`V`) to move, resize, or rotate it. To animate it, follow [Keyframes](/docs/animation/keyframes.md).
